With the objective of developing public speaking skill extemporaneous speech was held virtually on 7 November, 2020 for Grade 1 to Grade 9 where students expressed spontaneous, conventional and persuasive speech. The activity asks the speaker to persuade or inform the audience on “short notice”. Students chose 3 to 5 topics and had 30 minutes to prepare the speech. The children exhibited the ability to think on the spot.
