Thirukkural Recitation competition was conducted virtually on 9th January, 2021. Thirukkural is a work that has an immense influence on Tamil culture and life. It is usually attributed to the poet Thiruvalluvar. So to emphazise more on its practical concerns, aphoristic insights into daily life, and universal and timeless approach. VIVIANS were given the opportunity to recite this classic Tamil couplets which includes life skills and moral values. The competition commenced at 9 am with competitive vibes. The students’ bubbling enthusiasm was highly commendable. Students showed keen interest in participating. Finally, the students were awarded with e-tropies for their dazzling performances.
